More Disney

View from Bay Lake Towers

This is the view from our hotel room at Bay Lake Towers. This is by far one of my favorite resorts, and I am sure we will stay there again. It is so close to Magic Kingdom and very easy access to Epcot via monorail. The rooms are well laid out, and who can beat the view!

Disney!

Since I was unable to ski this year (again!), we decided not to go to our favorite ski destination, Bear Lodge, as we do most years in February. So where do you go when you can't ski? Disney, of course!! We went with Ana and my parents and had a wonderful time. The day we were scheduled to return home there was a massive blizzard in VA/DC area, so we were forced to stay an extra couple of days. When the snow still hadn't been cleared our flight was canceled and we ended up flying into Raleigh, NC, renting a van, and driving the rest of the way home.

As you can see from these photos Ezra really enjoyed meeting the characters. He especially liked Goofy and Pluto, since they are woof-woofs. Oh, and the monorail of course!! We had a wonderful view from the window of our hotel room, and Ezra just loved watching the trains come and go.

Christmas 2009

Christmas day at Bear Lodge was fun. Ezra enjoyed his new toys, and we al enjoyed spending time with Chris & Nick.

And Another Grandma!

Visiting with Great Grandma Laiacona. This was a very good visit. Great Grandma Laiacona was very alert and enjoyed being with everyone. Ezra though her chair with wheels was pretty special. Also visiting were Aunt Mary, Aunt Santa, Uncle Bob, Chris & Nick.

Wtih the Grandmas

Ezra with Grandma Laiacona and Great Grandma Burkart, who just turned 90.

Bear Lodge December 2009

Here we are visiting Bear Lodge for Christmas week. The weather was super cold, so these photos do not depict an average day for us. Instead we stayed inside and played most of the time. Ezra loved going to the front windows and growling at Mulder, the bear. He also enjoyed taking a tour of the house with Grandma several times a day.

Ezra's Dream Come True

On November 20 we looked out the window to find a backhoe and dumptruck digging a new curb across the street. When they were taking a break they parked in on the sidewalk directly in front of our house. How cool is that???

Helmet Success

We've been trying al sorts of things to convince Ezra to wear his helmet. It was to no avail until we watched a video on youtube of little kids riding a balance bike and wearing helmets. After watching that 3 times Ezra ran to his bedroom and grabbed his helmet and had us put it on. Here he proudly displays it. He now pats his head each time he says bike, just to show that he knows about the helmet.

Trick or Treat 2009

This year for Halloween Era dressed up as an Indian (or should I say Native American?). What inspired this outfit? Pure procrastination. A week before Halloween I still had no costume for the boy so Nikki offered me a outfit Mom had made for Morgan...when she was 6! This is how it fit Ezra at 19 months. We then went downtown trick or treating for candy that Ezra didn't get to eat. I doubt I'll get away with again next year.
