Christmas Lights

We bundled up and took the whole family out to see the Christmas lights. This is a tradition we do each year with our au pairs, who are always astounded by the level of decorations people put up. We brew up a batch of hot chocolate and do a run through the Agnese/Holmes area, stopping at the Haney's, of course. Then head over to hogwaller to check out the ultimate house featuring a yard full of blow up decorations and Santa handing out candy canes.

Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving was in our new home this year. It's so exciting to finally have a house where we can comfortably host large family gatherings, even if the kitchen lacks a bit of space.


Here we have Valeria (standing on left) and the around the table Ezra, Dirk, Nikki, Morgan, Mom, Dave, Lillian. Lillian is my Dad's step-sister and Dave is her husband.

Cherub

Here's my sweet little angel in a rare calm moment. This is also from October 2010. I love how his hair gets so blond over the summer. This is before I cut most of the light stuff off with trims.

I love this photo for two reasons: Jacob was loving playing with Morgan's beloved Bear, and lokk at how chunky Jacob looks! This is the fattest he ever got. (He's a little too thin for my tastes now, but we're working on that.)
